Argumentative Essay2 -Should Both Parents Assume Equal Responsibilities in Raising a Child?

Should Both Parents Assume Equal Responsibilities in Raising a Child?

Some parents think that it can be enough for children if only mother take their responsibilities. These people think like this are generally father because they don’t want to be interested in their children’s problems. However, it is accepted that fathers and mothers responsibilities are different from each other in families, but their responsibilities are equal. So, both parents should assume equal responsibility in raising a child because children want to draw their attention, children don’t spend lots of time with them, they don’t consider only one of them and it gains some thoughts.

Assuming equal responsibility is important for children because they want to draw both parents’ interest, not only their one parent’s interest. They generally think that their families don’t want them when they can’t draw their parents’ attentions. If they are successful, they want to take a present or be congratulated by their parents. Its cause is that they want to see that they are important for their parents. It is agreed that being seen by himself or herself is important for his or her developing.

Parents take equal responsibility in raising a child because they do same thing in all day. Women and men generally go to the works and don’t return their home until the late hours, so both of them are fatigued. Therefore, they don’t have lots of time to learn what something is right or wrong to their children. Only being looked after by a parent may not be enough for them because children are at school or at home and their parents are at works all day. They can overcome this problem only if they separate equal time for their children.

If only a parent take responsibilities for their child, it can’t be enough because children generally don’t consider about a parent whatever she/he says. It is most common reason is that women are more interested in their children and they assume more responsibilities than men So, children think that whatever they do their fathers don’t interested in neither their nor women’s thoughts. They can also think that they resist their mothers because of their thoughts which they are stronger than their mothers. However, they don’t face with these problems if their father also interested them.

Parents’ equal responsibilities affect children in terms of their lives and futures because it gains them some thoughts. As the way their sharing responsibilities is one of good examples for them, they learn to share something which is important for people by this way. Everyone isn’t more important than the others since everyone do same things in their families. Because they see that their parents fulfill their tasks, they can learn how to realize their duties.

To sum up, assuming equal responsibilities in raising a child is helpful both parents and the child although some people don’t think like this. One of the most significant problems is that it’s not accepted by families because of their thoughts. They think that only women raise their children even if they work and men generally are confident about it.  However, it should be accepted because of reasons which are written.
